Wednesday afternoon Katie, Maggie and I all met up at the Balboa Desert Garden for a little photo date. We each work from home so it’s important to make fun lady dates during the week to keep your sanity. Am I right? It was so fun to catch up with them both and introduce Katie and Maggie to each other! I love meeting other like-minded local ladies and so happy to have a great group of gals here in San Diego. Also, loved being able to get some practice in and take photos of both of these beauties. If you’re in the area I definitely recommend checking this garden out. It’s full of amazing cactus plants that Dr Seuss actually used as inspiration in his books! Super cool. x

Oh these are pretty!! That cactus is sorta octopus like haha, I always wanted to explore this and more of balboa park, I usually just end up at the zoo though!
I just discovered this a week ago when I was exploring the rose garden next door with my sister! I was amazed by the trees with the snake-like cacti branches in your first picture. I didn’t know about the Dr. Seuess tidbit, though! How cool!
