Bits from the weekend.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m either A) not taking enough pictures or B) taking far too many. This weekend was definitely one where I took far too many and just HAVE to share them with you all. Living in a new city has definitely opened up my eyes and has been a breathe of fresh air. I’ve felt more inspired and eager to try new things, more motivated and I’ve definitely felt out of my element since I’ve been job searching. Which by the way is harder than ever, really trying not to let it get my hopes down. Anyways, this weekend was definitely much needed, I love spending time with Aaron.

Pictures of the city near Aarons office.

Finally got around to hanging up some artwork.

Caught Aaron in action doing some dishes after I cooked a fine seafood dinner.

Sunday morning we caught brunch with some friends. I’ve never been to Snooze before, it was amazing.

I got the Snooze spuds deluxe. Who could resist a plate of hash browns with cheese, bacon and avocado? Don’t judge me.

Aarons french toast.

I forgot exactly what the name of this was. An eggs benedict concoction of sorts.

Carmens sweet potato pancakes.

I attempted an outfit post but I think I need to train Aaron a little better on how to attain good shots of me. If you were to look at all the pictures he took they’re all of me in action some how, either moving my hair or way too close to my face haha.

Hope you all had a great weekend as well, I’m definitely going to try to take my camera out more often. If you’ve ever been to San Diego, what are some good restaurant recs? Always looking to try out new places. 🙂

  • You guys look like you are having such a good experience so far. How’s Aaron liking the new job? Employment heaven? You will get something. I will do some networking. Btw, you don’t look bad in any pictures I’ve seen of you. Can’t screw up beautiful sweetheart!

  • Ha! Jordan always manages to get pictures of me that look like I’m brain damaged.

P.S. Come here and be my girlfriend so you can cook me seafood dinners. I’m sure Aaron won’t mind. 🙂

  • I suggest the Mission in North Park for breakfast. ANYTHING along the beach for lunch. and Seersucker for a SUPER fancy schmancy dinner

  • I don’t think there’s any such thing as taking too many photos! Looking at all this delicious food is making me hungry…And you look cute in the outfit pic! 🙂

  • I wanted to try snooze while we were there, but it was packed. Will have to go when I’m back in Dec (and we will def have to meetup) Freebirds next door has awesome burritos and Lotus across the street was really good too!

  • Oh my gosh, so much delicious food. Drooling!
Glad to hear you’re enjoying the new digs! Loved seeing some pictures from around your new city. 🙂
    xo.

  • I’ve loved seeing your new adventure! So much fun. And these pictures are fab. :]
Also, my husband is always willing to snap my outfit pictures.. and Ive got him mostly trained on how to get at least one good one.. but those first few attempts were rough. ;] We’ve got sweet guys.

  • Youve got to try Pokez downtown for good vegetarian burritos and Lolita’s for hands down the best Mexican food in SD. Also try Te Neighborhood for fun dinner options and great beer! I could go on and on but there’s so much good food in SD!
