Well, we finally got around to finishing Emma’s nursery now that she’s 6 months old! This room is definitely one of our favorites, probably because it’s usually the cleanest. I still remember unpacking(or watching Aaron unpack) all of the boxes of furniture like it was yesterday and I’ll never forget the huge hormone induced meltdown I had over ordering the wrong size shag rug for this room(pregnancy brain?). Aaron was such a champ helping me lug it out into the living room to see if it would look good there and then helping me lug it back to this room and lay it back down under the big furniture pieces. Poor guy. Needless to say, I’m glad this room is finished and I love how it turned out! We went with all white furniture(I’m sure I’ll regret that later) and added grey and muted pinks throughout. It helped that the room was already a pretty grey color and we did a cute lamb theme with her mobile and toys. I was pretty specific with colors here, I have never been overly girly so I wanted to keep this as close to neutral as I could while still being feminine. I also wanted to be able to reuse pieces for our next kiddo.

One of my favorite pieces in this room are these little art prints from The Animal Print Shop. Aaron and I had so much fun picking out the different baby animals for her room and it was hard to keep it down to 6 for this grid!

At my baby shower we asked everyone to bring a book in lieu of a card and it was so awesome being able to fill all of her bookshelves up with books from our friends and family. I love that.

I love this rainbow print from my friend Katie’s shop, Odd Daughter Paper. It’s perfect for this room! All of her illustrations are my favorite.

One benefit of being pregnant over the holidays was all of the deals we scored during Black Friday. Almost all of our purchased furniture pieces we got at a huge discount which was amazing. Definitely recommend doing it that way if you can!
