Fall Essentials

The weather is cooling down here in San Diego and I am so happy about this. It never really gets bad in this city but I am so ready to bundle up in scarves and jackets! Fall always takes me back to simpler times when I would try to crunch every.single. leaf. on the sidewalk on my walk home from school. We’ve already been talking about the holidays which gets me so excited to see our families in Reno over Christmas.

I purchased the above jacket a couple months ago and have been anxiously waiting the moment I could step outside of my apartment wearing it without overheating. It matches perfect with my tote which was a big splurge for me. I’ve been loving that the leather gets greater over time and this tote can fit everything and then some. I feel like my eyes have been getting worse the more I work in front of a huge monitor, which makes the perfect excuse to get a new pair of glasses. When Jen visited I fell in love with her black booties she wore, I definitely want to snag a pair for myself. Fall, I am so ready for you.

What are some pieces you’ll be donning this season?

  • I’m a bit addicted to tops, so I’m heading to madewell to check that one out. =) The weather is also pretty cool in nyc. think it’s time to take the warm clothes from the storage room… i’ll miss summer, but I’m enjoying Fall so much this year!

  • Niiice, you’ve basically created my ideal outfit! Question, do you have that scarf? I’ve been thinking about getting it, but am curious about the softness and size.

    • I don’t!…yet! 😉 It looks like it’s super soft especially because it’s alpaca. I’ll let you know once I get it. <3

  • Goodness I love all of this. I’m near a madewell this weekend and think I’ll finally crack on the tote. Perfect for SF at the end of the month!

  • Oh that tote is amazing! I’m definitely going to check out the jacket. I always go for more feminine less structured jackets but I want to go outside of my comfort zone and get something else. Love these! I can’t wait until the temperatures drop more here.
