We finally got all of our wedding photos back and I’m so so excited to share them with you all. We got over 1,000 images so it was SUPER hard to narrow them down for this post but I did! I am so happy with how everything came together for our big day and can’t thank all of our friends, family and vendors enough. Aaron and I could not stress enough the importance of a small intimate wedding with all of our closest family and friends and this is exactly what we got. The day was so special and I’m so happy we have pictures of it all. We were lucky enough to have a family friend who let us borrow his house for our wedding. Right in the woods and big enough to fit all of our guests. It was perfect. See below!

A week before the wedding I cut, stained and painted on tons of pieces of birch wood for the signage around the venue.

My stepdad built custom A + V marquee letters for us! So in love with how they came out. And these will make great decor for our walls in our future house, haha.

One of my favorite parts about this day was that our close friend Michael was able to marry us!

We didn’t decide to do a candle ceremony until a few days before the wedding(!!) but I’m so glad we did. We got 2 candle sticks and a pillar candle and had both of our moms light the candle sticks, then Aaron and I both lit the pillar candle with the candlesticks to show our two families merging into one. It was so sweet to be able to include our Moms like that!

Obviously we had to high five 😉

Our wedding was a little out of the norm. We each had two maid of honors + best men. Aaron also had a groomsLADY and I had a BridesMAN. 😉

We decided to have a taco bar for the reception and it was amazing! Our caterers did a fantastic job setting this up and everything tasted incredible.

True story, one of my closest friends who I went to culinary school drove all the way up from Vegas to make our wedding cake. She was a champ and we’re so grateful.
