Welcome to the family, Riot.

I promise I’ll stop with the puppy spam after this. Sorry if you follow me on ig. 😉 We’ve been so happy with our new pup Riot over the past week that we’ve had him. He’s a 1 year old American Staffordshire Terrier and the vet told us that he won’t be getting any bigger. Which is exciting because his short little legs are my favorite part about him. He’s fun sized! When we first got him I started having allergic reactions but just recently, after bathing him for the third time, my allergies are dying down and I think my body is adjusting. Which is so good, I was nervous we’d have to give him up. Both dogs are getting along so well and now I’m thinking we need to get a bigger bed and a bigger couch. Fun times!

  • We (my husband and I) just adopted a second dog too. It is so fun and cute to watch play and become best buds. Congrats on the new edition!

  • Ahh dying of cuteness! He is absolutely adorable! those eyes <3 ! I'm really glad to hear you're not allergic, if I was in your shoes I don't think would be able to give him up! Thanks for sharing : )

  • Oh, he is just adorable!!! Love his coloring. I bet Molli is happy to have a friend! It makes it easier to leave for work when you know there’s a buddy to keep them company. was Molli jealous of him at all when you first got him?

Ollie has been a little territorial of me since we just adopted Graham, but he is getting over it. I think it’s that male competition. 😉 Glad to hear your allergies are clearing up!

    • That’s exactly why we got him! I felt so bad leaving Molli at home alone. And luckily no! I try to make sure that I’m giving them both the same amount of attention and feel like it kinda helps. 🙂

Oh two boys! That might be it. We have a boy and a girl. We thought getting another girl might make Molli a little possessive. But exactly, he’ll get over it. 😉

  • He’s so cute!!! The two pups look like they belong together! Glad to hear your allergies are calming down. i was allergic to our cat for a couple weeks, and eventually it went away. i think our bodies just need to get used to them. welcome to the family, little guy!!

    • Ah that gives me such hope! I was scared thinking I’d have to be on allergy meds forever :/ Glad to hear it’s just gone away with other people too. 🙂

  • As a pit bull owner, this post made me so happy! I have two “little” ones at home [I laugh because, well, one is 80lbs and the other is 50lbs] and I love them more than I can explain. They’re so misunderstood, as a breed, but I’ve found that their sweet personalities and goofy antics endear people to them almost immediately. So congratulations! Riot is adorable [and such a perfect name].

I’m a new follower and I say: CONTINUE THE PUPPY SPAM!

    • haha Thanks Amy!!! I will! And completely, a lot of people only listen to the media when it comes to bully breeds but I’ve read so many stories about how their perceptions changed once they actually met a pitbull. They’re total sweethearts!

  • You don’t need to apologise for puppy spam! i say, bring it on!

So pleased that your allergies have started to die down & i’m sure riot is even more pleased as he knows he’s got a forever home now!
